The Bravo star is the older sister to her brother, Frank “Frankie” Batula.
Her younger brother isn’t a reality TV fan and is described as “very” private by Amanda. “I have a younger brother who is not interested in anything that I do or that we do, or like any of it at all,” Amanda told The Daily Dish, adding that Frankie also resides in New York City. “We were close in age but we would wrestle and like I would try to beat him up … until he got taller than me. He’s the best. He’s got his s–t together more than I do.”
She portrayed Frankie as extremely smart and “on top of everything,” showing off his talents by going out to dinner and then recreating the meal at home.

Amanda is the eldest child born to parents Frank and Donna Batula.
Her parents are both talented artists. Frank gushed about the art supply cabinet he handmade for his wife in an April 2024 Instagram post.
The duo has made various appearances on Summer House, most notably at events related to Amanda’s 2021 wedding to Kyle Cooke, which was held in the backyard of their Hillsborough, New Jersey, home.
Amanda remains close to her parents, telling the Daily Dish that she often will drop off her dogs at her parent’s house and stay over for dinner. “It’s kind of like an escape. They’ve just been so helpful,” she said.
In the past, she’s discussed a possible move to New Jersey to be closer to her parents. Meanwhile, her husband has been more hesitant to leave New York City.
“When the weather is nice, we definitely go there as an escape,” Amanda told the outlet. “My mom makes these beautiful appetizers and she has drinks that she’s serving you, and just all this food … I still don’t get why Kyle would not want that life.”
Amanda Batula Slammed Claims Her Parents Ran Her Bank Account
The Summer House star set the record straight and responded to rumors her parents controlled her finances in an April 2024 interview.
“People think that I don’t do my own taxes and that my parents run my bank account — I don’t know where that misconception happened,” Amanda told the Daily Dish. “I don’t know how that started. But, I have full access to my bank account. I know exactly how much money I have in it. My parents do not have access to it.”
Amanda continued, “There was just one from when I was a kid — like, [a] trust, you know, or the bonds and stuff, that I didn’t know [about].”
She slammed people for thinking she was “a little child” who wasn’t able to manage her finances.
“I do just as much as my taxes as Kyle does. Like, an accountant does our taxes,” she explained. “I’m fully capable. I get it DM’ed to me all the time, that I can’t even do my own taxes. And I’m like, ‘Let me see you do your own taxes!’ Everyone’s using, like, TurboTax and H&R Block. Nobody’s doing their own taxes anyway.”
