How to Watch ‘The Voice’ Season 27
Viewers can enjoy the weekly episodes on NBC. Peacock subscribers can stream each episode one day after it airs on cable.
Who Are ‘The Voice’ Season 27 Coaches?
Michael Bublé was the only coach who returned to the red chair from season 26. Former mentors John Legend and OG coach Adam Levine made their return to the show and welcomed first-time mentor Kelsea Ballerini to the group. However, the Grammy-winning country star got eased into the role when she filled in for Kelly Clarkson while she was sick during season 20.
John was a coach between seasons 16 and 22. The “Ordinary People” singer returned for season 24 and 25 and took a break the following season before his season 27 return.
Adam, on the other hand, exited the show after starring in the competitive singing series for 16 seasons to prioritize his family. Adam shares kids Dusty Rose Levine, Gio Grace Levine and a son with his wife, Behati Prinsloo.
However, he felt it was time to come back home.
“The only way to sum it up is that just energetically … the opportunity came at the right moment and I was really ready, and we started talking about it and one thing led to another and here I am. It was that simple,” Adam told NBC Insider in February 2025. “It didn’t involve too much deliberation or overthinking. I kind of just felt ready. I was really happy to come back and experience it again with these three wonderful people.”
Meanwhile, Kelsea has been vocal about how touched she’s been by the contestants since joining the show.
“I feel so lucky to be a part of this. can’t wait for everyone to see the TALENT and vibes and happiness all around,” the “Half of My Hometown” artist wrote in the comments section of a January 7, 2025, post shared on the official NBC Instagram account.
Kelsea later told WTHR that being a judge on The Voice has been “a dream come true.”
“It was something I put on my bucket list when I got to fill in for Kelly Clarkson a couple years ago. She got sick and asked me to fill in for her Battle Rounds,” she explained to the outlet. “I left that experience and said, ‘I so badly want to do this one day.’”
