Selena Gomez did not think she was going to win at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards and she made it known while accepting her award!

The 32-year-old actress and the cast of her show Only Murders in the Building won the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series on Sunday (February 23) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Selena was joined by some of the supporting cast, but lead co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin both missed the event.

After looking like she was in complete shock after being announced as the winner, Selena was seen mouthing some words to her castmates while walking up to the stage. Joining her on stage were Molly Shannon, Michael Cyril Creighton, Kumail Nanjiani, and Richard Kind.

“Do I have to talk?” she asked them (according to E! News). “I can’t talk.”

On stage, she took the lead while accepting. She said, “Wait, we never win. This is so weird… Well, Marty and Steve aren’t here because, you know, they don’t really care. But I don’t know what to say. Thank you to Marty and Steve for helping raise me. I genuinely am just so grateful [to] everybody, the writers. Everyone deserves this, and I take it home for all of us.”

“I’m bringing this back to New York for season five. Thank you so much. I’m so grateful. Thank you, SAG-AFTRA. Thank you to everybody. I love you,” she added.
