Jennifer Carpenter is addressing her fate on Dexter.
The 45-year-old actress opened up about whether she would be reprising her role as Debra Morgan in the upcoming Dexter: Resurrection series.
The actress originated the part in Dexter and reprised it for the 2021 limited series, Dexter: New Blood.

However, it sounds like she’s not coming back for this new series.
“I am pretty focused where I am, and I feel like I’ve completed that box. I’m proud of it,” she said in an interview with People.
“I hope that they’re having a wonderful time,” she continued, referring to the cast and crew of the Showtime show.
“And I’m so happy for the fans to have more to chew on.”
Jennifer starred in all 96 episodes of Dexter from 2006 to 2013, playing the adoptive sister of the titular character.
