Love Is Blind alum Marshall Glaze shut down claims that the popular reality dating show is scripted after fans spotted a typed page inside one of the participant’s journals in a TikTok video.

“We get daily conversation starters every day before entering the pods,” Marshall, 29, wrote in the comments section of the TikTok video. “Helpful IF there’s nothing to talk about.”

In the video, Love Is Blind season 8 star Molly Mullaney could be seen holding one of the journals producers give to cast members so they can keep notes about the people they speak with in the pods. When Molly, 30, held the journal up, the TikTok user paused the scene and zoomed in to show a page filled with typed words.

“They don’t [sic] be writing no notes. That looks like a script,” the content creator wrote across the clip shared on Monday, February 17. In the caption they added, “This show is fake.”

Molly has yet to address the viral theory.

During her time on the show, Molly connected with fellow costar David “Dave” Bettenburg. The former Timberwolves cheerleader was seemingly confident that she and Dave, 33, would leave the pods together. He asked her about her engagement ring preferences and told her she was his “No. 1 after the first date.”

However, fate had other plans. Molly was unaware that Dave had also developed strong feelings for Lauren O’Brien, and she unintentionally gushed about her bond with him in front of Lauren, 31.

“He said he’s going to end it with her,” Molly told her fellow costar Virginia Miller in episode 4. “It makes me feel so bad because I said something.”

In the following episode, Molly told Love Is Blind producers, “I really want it to work out with Dave and I. I just have a gut feeling that it’s right, and usually when I get these gut feelings, I’m not wrong. So, I’m really not sure why he hasn’t broken it off with the other girl yet.”

The conversation caused Lauren to second-guess her relationship with Dave and she spoke about her issues with the medical device salesman.

“I feel so confidently about you and about this, but I spent the last day being like, ‘The way he talks to me is either he’s really good at talking a big game here to two different people, or she’s interpreting things differently,’” Lauren told Dave during episode 5.

Dave admitted that “not knowing” if Lauren was dating other men in the pods was ultimately what “held him back” from being more upfront about his feelings for her. He also seemingly backtracked on what he had previously confessed to Molly.

“I never told Molly she was my No. 1 choice. I would not have told her that knowing how I feel about you,” Dave said.

Dave broke up with Molly soon after his conversation with Lauren, and later proposed to the educational sales professional. They left the pods engaged, but their relationship hit a rough patch after leaving the pods.

When they returned to their apartment in Minneapolis and their phones were returned, Dave discovered that he had mutual friends with a man Lauren had casually dated shortly before arriving to film Love Is Blind. The news sent him into a tailspin and during episode 9, he told Lauren he wasn’t comfortable sleeping at their apartment with her.

Fans will have to wait until the next episodes of Love Is Blind season 8 premiere on February 28 to find out whether or not Dave and Lauren make it down the aisle.
