These Hollywood women are picking up the pieces and forging new paths after leaving their marriages behind.
Jessica Simpson
Jessica confirmed in a January statement that after 10 years of marriage, she and Eric Johnson, 45, “have been living separately navigating a painful situation.” In November 2024, a source told Entertainment Tonight there were “rumors and rumblings about Eric being overly flirtatious during their relationship.”
Jess, 44, further fueled cheating speculation when she shared a cryptic message on Instagram the same month, describing the new album she’s been recording as “an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve.”
According to an insider, she’s been writing songs — many reportedly about revenge and resilience — “to heal herself.” Formal divorce proceedings “will come soon,” says the insider, as they negotiate a financial settlement and custody of kids Maxwell, 12, Ace,11, and Birdie, 5. “Jessica is beginning to accept this new normal,” an insider exclusively tells Life & Style. “She is focusing on herself, her new career opportunities that are happening and, of course, her family.”
Christina Haack
Ending marriage No. 3 has been a nightmare for Christina. Since filing for divorce in July 2024, the HGTV star, 41, has accused ex Josh Hall, 44, on Instagram and in court filings of being a narcissist, stealing $35,000 from her bank account and demanding $65,000 in monthly spousal support. (He’s denied her claims.) The Flip Off host has moved on romantically — she’s now dating Network Connex CEO Chris Larocca — but she and the realtor are “not even close” to settling their divorce, she told Sirius XM in January, adding, “[We’re] going to trial.”
Lily Allen
In January, Lily announced she was taking a break from her “Miss Me?” podcast. “I’m really not in a good place,” the singer-actress, 39, explained, confessing she’d been “spiraling.” Days earlier, reports alleged Lily had recently discovered her husband of four years, Stranger Things star David Harbour, 49, had secretly been using the dating app Raya. (He hasn’t publicly commented.) Their separation was widely confirmed in early February. “Lily,” says a source, “is heartbroken.”
Jessica Alba

Living well is the best revenge. On February 8, Jessica took her daughters to the Fanatics Super Bowl pre-party in New Orleans, where she “had the best time dancing on a booth,” says an observer. A day earlier, the Sin City actress, 43, and husband Cash Warren, 46, filed identical divorce petitions ending their 16-year marriage — and neither mentioned a prenup. (TMZ later confirmed they don’t have one, so the exes could be headed for an epic battle over assets!) Romantically, “it’s been over for a long time,” says an insider, noting Jessica’s now open to finding a new love interest. “Friends are telling her to try dating someone at her level of celebrity,” which might mitigate “certain issues she had with Cash.”
