Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s Seraphina “Fin” Rose Elizabeth Affleck debuted a new hairstyle while exploring wildlife with her A-lister dad in Long Beach, California.
Fin, 16, rocked mini pigtails and bangs during a trip to the aquarium alongside Ben, 52, and a friend on Sunday, February 16. Daily Mail was the first to share the photos.
The celebrity teen paired their spunky hairstyle with a Bob Marley graphic T-shirt, forest green khaki pants, a white and light blue windbreaker and retro reading glasses.
Ben, for his part, dressed in a monochromatic outfit that featured a creme cashmere sweater, matching-colored trousers and a coat.
Fin has expressed themselves through various hairstyles over the years. On February 8, 2024, the celebrity kid debuted a fuchsia pink buzzcut while waiting at the bus stop after chopping off their light, feathered layered locks. Days later, Fin unveiled a fresh cut once again during a shopping date with Ben and former stepsibling Emme Muniz. Fin and Emme, who is a twin with brother Max Muniz, formed an unbreakable bond while Ben and ex-wife Jennifer Lopez were married for two years. The former couple separated in April 2024 and finalized their divorce the following January.
Ben welcomed Fin with Garner, 52, on January 6, 2009, after welcoming daughter Violet Affleck on December 1, 2005. Samuel Affleck, 12, joined the family on February 27, 2012. Fin and Samuel are the remaining siblings left in their parents’ household as Violet, 19, started her first year at Yale in New Haven, Connecticut, in fall 2024.
Although Ben and the 13 Going on 30 actress separated in 2015 and finalized their divorce three years later, they continued to actively coparent their three children.
Fin and Ben often go on outings together, including their August 2024 trip to the movie theater in Los Angeles, California. The Accountant actor chaperoned the group trip with Fin and their friends, who looked happy to be hanging out together in photos published by New York Post.
In January 2024, Garner gave a rare update about her eldest two kids, revealing how different Violet and Fin are.
“It was interesting thinking about temperament. [Violet and Fin’s] personal mission statements and value statements were as if they had never met,” the Peppermint star said during an appearance on the “Raising Good Humans” podcast, in reference to the family’s New Year’s tradition.
“On New Year’s Eve, my kids and I, we always do something, we write down something we want to let go of, something we want to manifest, etc,” Garner explained, later adding, “They never show it to me, I wish! I let them have their privacy whatever!”
Two months later, Garner gushed about how “solid” her three growing kids were.
“I’m just watching them in this new phase of life where they’re figuring out who they’re going to be and what they’re going to study,” the family matriarch told People in March 2024. “And I’m so interested in them. All the time, I’m interested in everything about them.”
