Taylor Swift received boos at the 2025 Super Bowl, but the singer had the most epic response during the now-viral jumbotron moment.
Why Was Taylor Swift Booed at the Super Bowl?
Taylor, 35, was featured on the jumbotron at the big game at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Sunday, February 9. Several social media users shared the clip on their Instagram and X accounts, where the crowd could be heard booing the “Karma” singer as she appeared on the screen. She gave a side eye to the camera during the awkward moment. After a few seconds, Taylor flashed a smile and was seen saying something to the people around her before the camera panned away.
Prior to the game, the commentators mentioned that there were more Philadelphia Eagles fans in attendance than Kansas City Chiefs fans. Taylor, who was in attendance to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce‘s Chiefs, was targeted by Eagles fans even before the game. Eagles fans targeted the hitmaker with hateful T-shirts in the days leading up to the game.
NFL writer Dov Kleiman showed off one of the shirts in a post on X, which said “F–k Taylor Swift” with the Eagles logo replacing the “C” in the word.
