Travis Kelce’s friend had a heartwarming story to share that seemingly proves Taylor Swift has baby fever.
Sportscaster Adam Lefkoe, who is a longtime friend of Travis, 35, shared details about a double date he attended with him and Taylor, 35, at last year’s Yankees vs. Guardians American League Championship game.
“She was so cool and nice, and it was exactly what you want someone to be like,” he recounted the experience during a January 9 appearance on “The Steam Room” podcast with Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson. “We’re talking about sports, [how] I’m so proud of his brother on TV and how he’s doing a good job.”
Travis then asked his friend about his new baby, which garnered an excited expression from the “You Belong With Me” songstress.
“Taylor’s like, ‘Baby! Let me see,’ and she comes over and she looks at my son, Prince, and she was like, ‘That might be the cutest baby I’ve ever seen,’” he recounted. “I’m like, ‘This is amazing, I agree.’”
Travis and Taylor are gearing up to spend their second Super Bowl together. The Kansas City Chiefs are set to face the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9, a rematch of the 2023 Super Bowl win, where they beat the Eagles 38 to 35.
Sources exclusively told Life & Style on February 6 that “everyone in Travis and Taylor’s world assumes an engagement is coming” as the big game approaches.
“In fact, a lot of people find it pretty extraordinary that it hasn’t happened already,” the insider explained. “He is so open about Taylor being The One. He wants to spend the rest of his life with her and vice versa.”
The NFL star is ready for the commitment, and his hesitation stems more from waiting for the perfect moment to get on one knee, as “he wants to knock it out of the park.”
Ever since Taylor and Travis went public with their relationship in September 2023, the “Blank Space” artist is often spotted with the athlete’s friends and family at Chiefs games as she cheers him on from a private suite.
Nicole Viscount, whose fiancé, Craig Parmenter, once played football with Travis, recently shared a suite with Taylor Swift on January 26. She noted how caring and attentive Taylor was toward Travis when he entered the suite after the game.
“Once he was in the room, all she did was follow him around to take pictures of him with his family and friends, make sure that he had something to drink and was having a good time,” Nicole told the Delaware Journal in an article published on January 29. “She was the literal definition of a supportive, happy girlfriend.”
During their time in the suite, Taylor was the one to orchestrate a photo with all of Travis’ old friends. Afterward, the “Fortnight” artist said she would take a picture with anyone who wanted one and Nicole seized the opportunity.
“She waited for me to fumble around with my phone, very graciously, and then she kissed me on my cheek,” Nicole said. “I will probably never wash my face again.”
