Travis Kelce isn’t often shy when it comes to gushing about his relationship with Taylor Swift, though he dodged a question about his plans to potentially propose to the pop star at the Super Bowl.

While talking to reporters at the Super Bowl’s opening night event in New Orleans on Monday, February 3, Travis, 35, was asked if he would pop the question to Taylor, 35, during the game’s halftime.

“Wouldn’t you like to know,” Travis coyly responded as he smiled at the camera.

Despite not answering the question about a potential proposal, Travis did share more insight into his relationship with Taylor. After he was asked his favorite food that she makes, he responded, “I’m a breakfast guy, man. I would say her homemade Pop Tarts are unbelievable.” He also added that she’s “quite the cook.”

The Ohio native also said that he wants to make Taylor proud with his professional accomplishments, including at the upcoming Super Bowl. “I better hold up my end of the bargain. She’s up there being the superstar that she is and never taking no for an answer and always working her tail off,” Travis said. “I better match that energy for sure.”

The Kansas City Chiefs solidified their spot at the 2025 Super Bowl following their win against the Buffalo Bills on January 26. Travis’ team will go up against the Philadelphia Eagles, who they previously beat at the 2023 Super Bowl, on February 9.

Ever since Taylor and Travis confirmed their relationship in September 2023, the “Shake It Off” singer has become a staple at Chiefs games and often cheers her boyfriend on in a suite alongside his friends and family.

While many fans are hopeful that Taylor and Travis will get married, the couple hasn’t shared many details about their plans for the future. However, an insider exclusively told Life & Style that “has felt like she’s had the best year of her life” in 2024 due to her romance with the professional athlete.

“Her relationship with Travis has strengthened so many parts of her and made her more confident and fearless,” the source dished. “Finding a love like this has changed Taylor.”

Additionally, Travis has also shared Taylor’s supportive thoughts about him potentially retiring from the NFL.

“She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” he said about the “Bejeweled” singer during his appearance on the January 15 episode of the Stephen A. Smith Show. “She loves coming to Arrowhead [Stadium] and coming to the games and cheering for me so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams.”

Travis also noted that being in a stable relationship has helped him be a better player. “That’s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft,” he continued. “Focus on being the best version of you.”

He went on to note that he’s “as focused as I’ve ever been on my job and being the best player I can possibly be, week in and week out for this team.”

“And it’s because I don’t have to worry about things off the field,” Travis added.
