90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Veah Netherton is a married woman! The season 7 star confirmed she split from her overseas love interest, Sunny Mahdi, and revealed she married someone else who made an onscreen cameo.
Veah, 28, seemingly confirmed she married her dog sitter — who babysat her dog during her trip to South Africa to originally meet Sunny – by sharing a report from 90 Day Fiancé blogger Alexa Pomegranate revealing her wedding on Monday, February 3.
“Turns out that Veah married her dog sitter. But wait – he’s not just a dog sitter. He’s also part time in the military and a policeman,” text on the post read, before alluding to the pair making a future appearance on the TLC franchise. “Stay tuned to see him on TV! He’s been an amazing partner, helping Veah through her hardest struggles with her health.”
The 90 Day Fiancé personality shared the post via her own Instagram profile, captioning the announcement, “Grateful [prayer hands emoji].”
Shortly after Veah’s announcement, fans flooded the comments section, shocked by the news of her marriage. Many were stunned since she and Sunny, 26, still appeared to be together when part 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days tell-all aired on Sunday, February 2.
“Is this real???” one person wrote, and another chimed in, “Where are the photos at ! Wedding photos ? Relationship photos ? Anything ? Lol I’m happy but of course we want to see.”
Veah was first introduced to TLC fans last year when she made her debut on season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days alongside Sunny. The pair found sparks on an international dating app but quickly hit roadblocks when they finally met in person during the spinoff.
Despite their cultural and religious differences, Veah and Sunny ended their season engaged and optimistic about their future. However, when they returned for the season’s tell-all, which aired in four parts starting on January 12, they revealed they had broken up and Veah went on a date with someone new.
“That is what, like, upset Sunny, was who the guy was. It was the guy who babysitted my dog, Zaira, when I was in South Africa,” she told the group. “We were 100 percent broken up. But the thing is, since then, we’ve been together and we’ve worked through it.”
Sunny admitted Veah’s date with her dog sitter “freaked” him out because she had previously told him that they were “friends,” and it was nothing “bigger” than that. The tell-all ended with the pair confirming they rekindled their romance and had been together “for months,” with Veah saying her “heart” was with Sunny. They also confirmed their visa paperwork had been submitted to a lawyer.
“My visa is getting expired here in South Africa. So I’m gonna fly home to Bangladesh and Veah is coming to visit me because I’m gonna stay there for a long time,” Sunny said of the couple’s future plans. “I’m gonna stay there till my visa get approve to go to the States to join with Veah.”
