Tarek El Moussa has taken a playful jab at ex-wife Christina Haack’s (formerly Christina Hall) love life after her split from third husband Josh Hall.
“She’s secretly engaged,” the real estate investor, 43, told E! News after Christina, 41, said she was “just trying to do things different” with dating in an interview published on Thursday, January 30.
“He’s kidding, oh my god,” Christina quickly responded to her ex-husband and The Flip Off costar.
Tarek and Christina were married from 2009 to 2018, during which time they welcomed two kids, daughter Taylor and son Brayden. Following their divorce, Christina moved on with husband Ant Anstead, whom she married in 2018. The pair welcomed son Hudson during their marriage but split in 2020, and they finalized their divorce in 2021.
Christina tied the knot with Josh, 44, in 2022. Both the real estate agent and the HGTV star filed for divorce in July 2024.
Amid her split from Josh, Christina moved on with boyfriend Christopher Larocca. The Daily Mail first reported on January 10 that the Christina on the Coast star has been seeing the Orange County, California-based businessman for “a few months now.”
“They’re always together and out and about around Newport,” an insider told the outlet, referring to Newport Beach, California, where Christina still resides in the $12 million home she bought with Josh.
“They even have traveled abroad and visited other countries together,” the source added. Days after the report, Christina and Christopher, 52, were photographed exiting a limousine at LAX and boarding a plane together.
Though the Christina in the Country star may have moved on quickly after Josh, a source exclusively told Life & Style on January 14 that she has no plans to “rush into another marriage” with Christopher.
“Christina has wasted no time in getting her personal life back on track. She’s dating Christopher Larocca, who she’s been friends with for a while,” the insider said. “He’s divorced and raising a teenager with his ex-wife, and as far as I know, he’s completely smitten with Christina and vice versa.”
The source added that “everyone is questioning the timeline of when [Christina] and Christopher started their romance.”
“Christina had a very tumultuous break up with Josh, she’s still going through it, but at the end of the day, she deserves happiness,” the insider concluded. “And you have to give her credit for not giving up on love. She’s already told friends not to worry, she won’t be rushing into another marriage. She’s learned her lesson, now she says she wants to be engaged for at least five years.”
Christina has also spoken about her future marriage plans, telling Us Weekly on January 10, “I probably will [get married again] eventually. But, not anytime soon.”
In early December 2024, the Flip or Flop alum slammed rumors that she was dating a contractor whom she works with after they were photographed together.
“Slow news day. I should be able to post pictures with my MARRIED male friends and co-workers without it being an omg look who’s she’s dating thing. So bizarre and ridiculous,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “Dear the media … I have plenty of interesting things to say (especially when it comes to my latest divorce) we don’t need to invent things.”
