The Bachelor season 29 star Grant Ellis got to know more about his final four contestants by going back to their hometowns and meeting their family and friends. Fans want to know more about who the New Jersey native chose and where he visited.
Warning! Spoilers ahead.
Who Are Bachelor Grant Ellis’ Final Four Contestants?
The day trader ultimately decided on Juliana Pasquarosa, Zoe McGrady, Litia Garr and Dina Lupancu as his potential final rose recipients, famed show spoiler Reality Steve Carbone reported on January 21, 2025.
Where Did The Bachelor’s Grant Ellis Go for Hometown Dates?
For hometown date No. 1, Grant and Julia headed to Newton, Massachusetts. Reality Steve posted photos from their trip on October 11, 2024, where the pair were photographed sharing a big hug while standing on a sidewalk. Juliana wore a black tank top and faded jeans, while Grant donned dark jeans and a maroon long-sleeved button-down shirt.
Zoe took Grant home to her native New York City on October 13, 2024, while the former basketball player headed to Wyoming for Litia’s hometown date on October 15, 2025, Steve reported.
Lastly, Grant and Dina visited her hometown of Chicago, Illinois, on October 17, 2024. Grant was filmed that day doing set up shots waiting for Dina’s arrival along the city’s Riverwalk in video and photos posted by Steve that day. The duo were pictured holding hands while strolling along Riverwalk, taking a break to chat outside the Chicago Brewhouse in photographs TMZ published the same day.
Dina looked stylish in a black leather jacket, black top and jeans, while Grant also dressed for the autumn weather in a burgundy sweater, dark jeans and a black wool coat.
The site reported that when cameras weren’t rolling, there wasn’t much interaction between Dina and Grant, noting that “they only stuck around 30 or 45 minutes to film.” In the photos, neither were smiling or showing any PDA beyond hand holding.
How Did Grant Ellis Become ‘The Bachelor’ Lead?
Grant competed on Jenn Tran‘s season 21 of The Bachelorette in 2024. He made it to fifth place, getting sent home just before hometown dates.
The “self-proclaimed mama’s boy” told Jenn he was falling in love with her in the episode that aired on August 12, 2024. It came after he joined fellow contestants Spencer Conley, Jonathan Johnson, Sam McKinney, and Devin Strader on a group date, where each hoped to make an impression on the aspiring physician’s assistant and make it to her final four. Jenn didn’t give out a group date rose at the time, telling the men, “I want to be 100 percent with where I’m feeling.”
While Grant was professing his feelings for Jenn at the party before the rose ceremony, she used the occasion to tell her eventual finalist, Devin, that she was falling in love with him. With that, the Dancing With the Stars alum eliminated Grant and Sam.
“I poured everything out, and it wasn’t good enough,” Grant confessed to producers after being cut loose. “It just sucks knowing that you feel some way about somebody, and they don’t feel the same about you.”
Fans weren’t ready to say goodbye to Grant and got the good news at the end of the episode that he had been cast as the season 29 Bachelor lead. His ABC Bachelorette profile was updated to read, “The adventurous day trader, who captured the hearts of Bachelor Nation with his genuine desire to build a future centered around family, will be handing out roses when his season premieres next year on ABC.”
