Ahead of the premiere of The Bachelor season 29, host Jesse Palmer teased that lead Grant Ellis struggled to choose between his final two contestants. But who were the women who left him feeling so indecisive? Spoilers ahead for the two ladies who made it to the final rose ceremony.

Who Are Grant Ellis’ Final 2 on ‘The Bachelor’?

The final two women were revealed after Grant’s overnight dates in the Dominican Republic. The contestants who moved forward to the final rose ceremony, which was also filmed in the Dominican Republic, were Litia Garr and Juliana Pasquarosa, according to Reality Steve.

Who Is The Bachelor’s Litia Garr?

Litia is a 31-year-old venture capitalist from Soda Springs, Idaho. In her bio from ABC, she was described as a “vibrant, empathetic and confident woman with a lot of love to give.”

“She is ready for a man to put her first and is looking for someone who is honest, vulnerable and family-oriented. Just like Grant, Litia loves sports and enjoys watching basketball, football and water polo,” the bio continued. “She also loves riding horses and is a huge fan of the board game Clue, even though she feels that playing it is not her strongest suit. Litia is SO ready to meet her other half and is hoping that Grant will be the guy.”

Litia is also an “incredibly fast swimmer.” She loves personality tests and being outside, but she “truly loathes” hiking.

Who Is The Bachelor’s Juliana Pasquarosa?

Juliana is a 28-year-old client service associate from Newton, Massachusetts. She was described as a “bubbly, outgoing woman who isn’t afraid to speak her mind and go after what her heart wants” on her bio.

“She comes from a big Italian family and aspires to find a lasting love like her parents have — they were high school sweethearts,” the bio read. “Juliana hopes to meet a man who has a good heart, strong ambition, and loves to hang out with family. Whether it’s dancing with friends, going out to museums and sporting events, or hanging in and watching a movie, Juliana has a good time wherever she goes. Grant, hope you’re ready for a good time!”

Juliana hopes to own a dog-friendly bar one day and was raised on Frank Sinatra’s music. And while she’s not afraid of heights, she has no interest in jumping off of anything high.

Grant Ellis Struggled to Pick a Winner on ‘The Bachelor’

In a trailer for The Bachelor season 29 shared in November 2024, Grant — a self-proclaimed “lone wolf” — admitted that his “biggest fear is that I end up alone.”

Grant later told host Jesse Palmer that he didn’t know which of his final two women to choose. Jesse responded, “We got both women, they’re here on standby, and of course, I have to know which to send first.”

Jesse told Us Weekly in an interview published on January 21, 2024, that Grant’s struggle to decide was “real.”

“I don’t know if you could tell from watching that from my reaction, [but] I was surprised. That was something that I haven’t encountered yet as the host in the last four years on any of the franchises,” he explained. “Normally, I think, our leads have a little bit more clarity — a lot more clarity — heading into the final day. And I really think that’s how conflicted Grant really was.”

Jesse said the season’s contestants were “remarkable,” which contributed to Grant’s indecision.

“They’re phenomenal every year for whoever our lead is [and] making that decision on the final day is always a very, very difficult decision, but I can appreciate some of why Grant was so conflicted. I’ll just say that,” he continued. “But absolutely without giving away too much, that was authentic and it’s real and it’s not an edit.”
