THR is reporting that Ryan Gosling is in talks to lead a new Star Wars film from Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy. Details about the project are being kept under wraps. Levy is reporting working on the script with his frequent collaborator Jonathan Tropper (This is Where I Leave You, The Adam Project).
The film side of Star Wars has only recently gotten back into gear. The Mandalorian & Grogu, the only film on their current slate which has gone into production, wrapped filming last year and is slated for a May 2026 release.
