Kris Jenner has been super hands-on with her grandkids of late, as seen in new Instagram posts, and a source exclusively tells Life & Style she’s got huge things in store for the next generation of Kardashian talent in 2025.
“She’s always thinking ahead,” the insider says of the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, 69. “It’s been high on her agenda for years to build the next generation of her family empire, which is why she’s been slowly phasing the kids into the show.”
The source adds that Kourtney Kardashian’s kids with ex Scott Disick — Mason, Penelope and Reign — and Kim Kardashian’s children with ex-husband Kanye West — North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm — are “already well-established characters” on The Kardashians.
That still leaves Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s kids, Stormi and Aire, Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s kids, True and Tatum, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s daughter, Dream, and Kourtney and Travis Barker’s son, Rocky.
“[Kris has] got no shortage of talent to work with,” the source notes.
“She’s constantly getting pitched brand deals for the kids. It’s just a matter of choosing the right partnerships and more importantly, getting their parents to sign off. Kris is very eager to start making the kids more front and center with the brand, and she’s saying this coming year her grandkids’ careers will be her main focus,” the insider concludes. “She wants to start putting hefty checks into their trust funds, with a nice cut for herself, of course, as their manager. She lives and breathes this stuff, so having this new challenge of making her grandkids into superstars is thrilling for her.”
While Kris has big business plans for her grandkids, she also takes the time to dote on them like any grandmother would. In December 2024, she posted a sweet birthday tribute for Mason, 15, and Reign, 10, who were born on the same day five years apart.
“Happy birthday to my two incredible grandsons, Mason and Reign!” she captioned a carousel of throwback photos on Instagram. “Our birthday twins! I still can’t believe the two of you share the exact same birthday. What a special blessing that connects you forever. You are both so deeply loved, and I am endlessly grateful to God for choosing me to be your grandma.”
Kris continued, “Mason, you are so kind, creative, smart, talented, and the best brother, son, grandson, cousin and friend. Watching you grow up and become such a caring and wonderful young man is pure magic — you make us all so proud.”
For Reign, she added, “You bring so much energy, laughter, and joy wherever you go. Your inquisitive mind and vibrant personality light up every room. You’re smart, funny, and full of so much love, and I feel blessed to witness the amazing little person you’re becoming. You fill my life with so much pride and happiness, and I love you both with every bit of my heart and soul.”
Kris concluded, “I’m so proud of the incredible boys you are and excited for the amazing futures you both have ahead of you!”
In April 2024, Kris reflected on her relationship with her grandkids in an interview on the “Next Question with Katie Couric” podcast.
“Penelope and I go to dinner,” she said.“They all love to go to Target or Costco or Walmart. They loved to go get some goodies. And so we’ll take them shopping or do something fun. They love to go to dinner. And I said to one of my kids the other day, I said, ‘You know, if I took every grandkid out to dinner once a month, that would take up the month. Think about that.”
