Ooh la la! Christina Haack (formerly Hall) revealed she and boyfriend Chris Larocca were on a romantic vacation in Paris, France, after flying out of LAX two days prior.
The HGTV star, 41, shared an Instagram Story showing the Eiffel Tower lit up at night set to Lady Gaga‘s version of the classic song “La Vie En Rose” on Thursday, January 16.
Christina and Chris, 52, were photographed for the first time in public on Tuesday, January 14, boarding a commercial flight at LAX. The duo was snapped getting out of their limo on the tarmac, as the businessman sweetly put his hand on Christina’s back while guiding her towards the stairs.
The Flip Off star confirmed she was embarking on a trip in an Instagram Story post she shared the following day. The photo showed a glass of champagne on a napkin in front of her while looking out at the member’s only luxury lounge PS LAX. Christina wrote at the bottom of the photo, “Bon voyage.”
A source exclusively told Life and Style about Christina’s new relationship, which comes amid her bitter divorce from estranged husband Josh Hall.
“Christina has wasted no time in getting her personal life back on track. She’s dating Christopher Larocca, who she’s been friends with for a while,” an insider revealed on January 14.
“Christina had a very tumultuous break up with Josh, she’s still going through it, but at the end of the day, she deserves happiness,” the source continued. “And you have to give her credit for not giving up on love. She’s already told friends not to worry, she won’t be rushing into another marriage. She’s learned her lesson, now she says she wants to be engaged for at least five years.”
This may not be the couple’s first time vacationing together in France. In October 2024, Christina shared a photo visiting the Veuve Clicquot champagne headquarters and vineyard in Reims, France.
“Veuve Clicquot. My vision board / trip goal since I was 21 checked off the list,” she captioned a snapshot while wearing a black tank top, miniskirt and knee-high black boots. Christina held onto a post showing directions to the boutique and other locations on the grounds with a big smile on her face. However, she didn’t tag who she was with.
“They even have traveled abroad and visited other countries together,” a source told The Daily Mail on January 10 about Chris and Christina’s romance, including a photo of the couple posing together while attending a Christmas party in Laguna Beach, California, on December 14, 2024.
Chris is the president and CEO of Network Connex, which he describes on his LinkedIn profile as a “provider of mission-critical network deployment solutions in fiber optics, data centers, wireless and video networks.” He’s a graduate of USC’s Marshall School of Business and is based in Orange County like Christina.
The vacation is a welcome distraction for Christina, who revealed on Sunday, January 12, that her divorce from Josh, 44, is likely headed to court. He filed for divorce on July 15, 2024, after less than two years of marriage, listing their separation date as July 8, 2024. That date happened to be Christina’s 41st birthday. She filed her own divorce petition on July 16, 2024, citing a separation date of July 7, 2024.
“We’re going to be going to trial, I hear. He doesn’t want to do mediation. It’s gonna be fun. Can’t wait,” the Flip or Flop alum snarked during an appearance on Radio Andy’s Jeff Lewis Live.
Christina said she worried she’ll end up paying Josh’s attorney fees, telling host Jeff Lewis, “They haven’t ordered me yet, but he’s been asking. I’ve already had to give a little something.”
She went on to claim Josh blew the money on an expensive car and is not currently working.
“I gave him money to live and then he bought a Bentley, but then he also doesn’t have a job,” Christina revealed. “But he drives a Bentley, so I’m sure he’s pulling a lot of chicks.”
It turned out Josh already had a girlfriend. He hard launched his relationship with Stephanie Gabrys the following day in a Monday, January 13, Instagram Story post.
It showed the model, 35, and the former cop snuggling in front of an outdoor fire pit as she sat on his lap. Josh wrote at the bottom of the photo, “Happy 35th to this real life angel,” in a birthday tribute.
“Josh met someone wonderful in Nashville, and they have been happily dating for some time,” a source told Us Weekly on January 10. “He hasn’t made a show of the relationship, but it’s not a secret. Josh is just low-key. He is very happy with his life and looking forward to 2025 and what’s on the horizon. This is the happiest he’s been in some time.”
Josh and Christina quietly began dating in March 2021 amid her divorce from her second husband, Ant Anstead. She split from the Celebrity Joyride IOU host, 45, in September 2020 after 22 months of marriage. The duo shares a son, Hudson, who was born in September 2019.
One month after their divorce was finalized in June 2021, Christina celebrated her birthday by announcing her relationship with Josh in an Instagram post.
“I may be a bit crazy and I’m definitely not perfect, but I will never live my life based on other people’s judgments or opinions,” Christina wrote in an Instagram post on July 8, 2021, where the couple marked their official social media debut. “So yes ‘another relationship’ and guess what. I’m 38 — I’ll do what I want.”
Christina and Josh got engaged two months later and secretly married in October 2021 after less than six months of dating. The Beach Bargains host went on to share photos from their formal wedding in Maui in September 2022 but never revealed their exact wedding date.
