Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Michael Zegen and Broadway actress Jennifer Damiano tied the knot in New York City, the bride announced via Instagram on Monday, January 13.
“The Zegens,” Jennifer, 33, captioned the post alongside a smirk-face emoji.
In the photo, the newlyweds shared a kiss in the middle of Cornelia Street in New York City moments after they said, “I do.” The 4th Man Out star donned an elegant white wedding dress that featured long, sheer sleeves with floral embellishments and satin buttons that traveled down her back. Jennifer tied the look together with a slick-back low ponytail and an exotic bouquet.
The Penguin star, 45, for his part, looked dapper in a classic slim-fit tuxedo.
“Jen – you look gorgeous. The dress but only on that absolute BOD. How elegant and classy. I’m overjoyed for you and this next chapter. It just keeps getting better,” a friend of Jennifer’s wrote in the comments section of the Instagram post.
“You both look stunning and in love. I’m so overwhelmed with happiness,” a second person commented.
Michael and Jennifer got married in “a small Jewish ceremony” at Palma restaurant on Sunday, January 12, Jennifer’s rep told People the following day.
The B-Side star reshared Instagram Stories from her wedding, including a message from her childhood friend who took photos of the ceremony.
“I’ve known Jenn since she was 17 years old. The first photo I ever took of her was picking out her jewelry she would wear to the Tony’s for her first nomination,” Jenny Anderson wrote. “Yesterday, I got to take the same shot in her wedding jewelry. A beautiful full-circle moment I will treasure.”
Jennifer wrote, “NOPE. Can’t handle this even for a second. I love you.”
Michael and Jennifer have maintained a private relationship. However, the Boardwalk Empire actor confirmed his engagement to Jennifer during a 2024 interview with the outlet. Neither of the pair confirmed when they started dating. That said, Michael and Jennifer worked together on the project Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice in 2020.
The couple took their relationship public at the 2022 Tony Awards. Michael and Jennifer walked the red carpet together and snuggled into one another’s deep embrace while posing for photos. A source told People that Michael and Jennifer were “inseparable all night,” including their time at Darren Criss and Julianne Hough‘s afterparty.
“They were hanging out with each other in the corner of the bar and looked really happy,” the source told the outlet at the time. “The Spring Awakening cast was all very friendly with Michael.”
Although the two don’t say much about their relationship, Michael doesn’t mind sharing snapshots of his now-bride on Instagram.
In August 2022, Michael and Jennifer got a dog together named Iggy. The Stand In actor subtly shared that they were still going strong while including a photo of his lady in a 2023 roundup post via Instagram that December.
Four months later, Michael shared a selfie of Jennifer and Iggy while celebrating his lady’s birthday, which also happened to be Mother’s Day that year.
