Christina Haack (previously known as Christina Hall) admitted she won’t get married again unless she’s engaged for at least “five years” following her three failed marriages.
While Christina, 41, said that she will “always love love,” she told Us Weekly on Friday, January 10, that she’s not in a rush to walk down the aisle again anytime in the near future. “I probably will [get married again] eventually. But, not anytime soon,” she said.
Despite being open to getting married again, Christina revealed that she would do things differently going into her fourth marriage. She said she would need to “be engaged for a minimum of, like, five years” before actually tying the knot.
The Christina on the Coast star married her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, in 2006, and they separated a decade later in 2016. The former couple – who share kids Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9 – have remained in each other’s lives as coparents and costars on HGTV.
Following her split from Tarek, 43, Christina moved on when she married Ant Anstead in 2018 after they dated for several months. The pair – who share son Hudson, 5 – eventually split after two years of marriage in 2020.
Her third and most recent marriage was to Josh Hall, whom she got engaged to after just a few months of dating. The pair tied the knot in 2022, and they shocked fans when Josh, 44, filed for divorce from Christina in July 2024. Christina followed suit by filing her own divorce paperwork, and the exes have gone on to publicly argue over money and her Tennessee home following their split.
While there has been plenty of drama between Christina and Josh in light of their separation, the mother of three did admit that the situation helped her get on better terms with Ant, 45. “When Josh and I split up, I hadn’t really talked to Ant in years,” she told Us Weekly on Thursday, January 9.
“The whole time I was with Josh, I would worry [thinking about how] Hudson’s sports [games] are coming up, we’re going to have to be on the field together, how’s Josh going to handle it?” she explained.
After she had distanced herself from Ant amid her marriage to Josh, Christina said that the Plymouth, United Kingdom, native was there for her as she navigated her latest divorce. “[After we broke up] I was dropping Hudson off at Ant’s house, and he gave me a big hug and was like, ‘I’m here for you and I’m so sorry you’re going through this,’” she recalled. “He said, ‘I feel like Josh is the source of the problem [and why] I couldn’t communicate.’ Now we’re back on track.”
It appears that Christina and Ant are getting along so well that he is even appearing on her new show, The Flip Off. While Christina was originally supposed to star on the HGTV series alongside Josh, Tarek and his current wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, Josh left the show amid their impending divorce.
Ant was spotted filming the show in November 2024, though his role is not currently known.
