A reality romance gone right! The Circle stars Darian Holt and Jadejha Edwards are engaged.
“Here’s to forever with you,” the season 7 stars announced in a joint message via Instagram on Wednesday, January 1. The photo carousel showcased a rose-filled proposal, with the newly engaged couple coordinating in matching all-black outfits.
Days later, the couple shared a behind-the-scenes video of the proposal on Sunday, January 5, with Darian writing in the caption, “To Us, Always & forever.”
In the video, Darian walked Jadejha into the room filled with candles and rose petals, where she was surprised with a red flower arch in the shape of a heart, that read, “Will you marry me?”
Darian held Jadejha’s hands, seemingly telling her a heartfelt speech before dropping to one knee and proposing with what appeared to be a circular diamond on a band of smaller sparking stones.
“I manifested her, she manifested me, we manifested each other,” Darian said in the clip. “This is my baby. This is my future wife. This is my fiancée!”
The couple celebrated with a bottle of champagne, surrounded by family and friends, including Savannah Miller, a fellow contestant from their season of The Circle.
Darian, a middle school teacher, and Jadejha, a cybersecurity beginner, met while competing on season 7 of The Circle, which premiered on Netflix in September 2024.
Darian and Jadejha, who played as themselves, immediately connected and formed an alliance throughout the game. Their relationship was flirty as they often called each other their Circle wife/husband. Although they fell short before the finale, they shared their first kiss on the reality TV series and even had a mock wedding.
The pair became a couple after filming ended and had already been talking about making it down the aisle in October 2024.
“We’ve been dating all year long, and it’s been good, and he’s been talking about a ring and stuff like that,” Jadejha previously told Entertainment Weekly. “So I’m trying not to spoil the surprise for myself. I’m trying not to pay attention to any clues, but he’s a terrible liar, so we’ll see when that comes. You never know, there might be some engagement photos dropping soon.”
Jadejha touched on their mock The Circle wedding and kept a part of her bridal outfit for when she and Darian tie the knot in real life.
“There’s this little secret that I have with production that no one knows, but I think now is the perfect time to tell someone,” Jadejha explained. “On the night of the finale when we were all getting ready to walk out, some people from production and wardrobe came down to me, and they gave me the garter from my wedding dress from the wedding episode and they said, ‘Take this to wear in your wedding if you get married to Darian.’ And I still have that to this day.”
