Kristin Cavallari revealed she is back in a new man’s arms and is dating a retired athlete three months after her split from ex-boyfriend Mark Estes.
“I’m kind of dating someone else now,” the Hills alum, 37, revealed to Bunnie XO during the Monday, December 30, episode of the “Dumb Blonde” podcast. “I’m not gonna say who it is, and it’s really new.”
Kristin, who was previously married to former NFL star Jay Cutler from 2013 until 2022, later joked, “They love me! They always find me. I’m a f–king WAG through and through.”
Kristin and Jay, 41, share kids Camden, 12, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 9.
Speaking of her new mystery man, the MTV star gushed, “He’s such a good guy, and it’s new, but he checks all the boxes where I’m like, ‘F–k, this is what I’ve been needing.’ He retired a couple of years ago, and he has so much depth. And I just love talking to him. He’s 40.”
Later in the “Dumb Blonde” podcast episode, Kristin admitted she was “craving real depth and emotional intimacy” from a partner when she and Mark, 25, broke up.
“I think when you are young and you don’t have life experience, coupled with maybe not a lot going on in your life, there’s not a lot to talk about,” the Laguna Beach alum explained.
That said, Kristin admitted she has nothing but love for the TikTok star – but their relationship was just “fun until it wasn’t.”
Kristin and Mark hard launched their relationship via Instagram on February 27. They were quickly hit by criticism about their 13-year age gap by fans, leading Kristin to defend their romance.
“When they’re all up in arms that I’m dating a 24 year old. Andddd?” Kristin captioned a March 2 TikTok video.
That said, their age gap ended up being the reason Kristin ended their relationship. She broke the news during her September 27 appearance on Alex Cooper’s Unwell tour and further discussed their split days later.
“I broke up with Mark because I just know long term it’s not right. It’s not because of love lost or something bad happened, no one cheated, no one was mean,” the Uncommon James founder said during the October 1 episode of the “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “No one did anything. Those breakups are always the hardest, I think.”
Speaking long-term, Kristin admitted the Montana Boyz influencer “needs to experience life.”
“He’s young, I mean, he is. I started to feel the age a little bit just with life experience. I look back on when I was 24 and how much life has happened for me between then,” she continued. “Those are crucial years; those are formative years. This is when you find yourself, and he needs to be able to do that.”
Mark, for his part, broke his silence via his rep on October 2, stating he “has immense love and respect for Kristin and their time together.”
“He’s focused on the future of his business and his project in development with Vice Studios,” Mark’s rep continued to E! News at the time.
Mark has since sparked dating rumors with Love Island U.S.A. alum Olivia “Liv” Walker.
