According to reporting by Variety, New York Judge Analisa Torres allowed the Jane Doe accuser to maintain her anonymity “at least for now.” Any attempts to have the lawsuit thrown out were also denied.

Analisa also called out Jay‘s legal team, accusing them of “relentless filing of combative motions containing inflammatory language and ad hominem attacks [on accuser’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee].”

“Since Carter’s attorney first appeared in this case seventeen days ago, he has submitted a litany of letters and motions attempting to impugn the character of Plaintiff’s lawyer [Buzbee],” she wrote, adding that the motions were “inappropriate, a waste of judicial resources, and a tactic unlikely to benefit his client [Jay-Z].”

A member of Jay‘s family was accused of “liking” a post about the rape lawsuit. See what they had to say.
