You asked and Apple listened – the Christmas edition features Zane Lowe instead of James Corden! The three celebrity singers are Chappell Roan, Dua Lipa, and Lady Gaga.
Zane joins Chappell Roan and her parents in Missouri where she sings Pink Pony Club, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, and Little Drummer Boy. They also visit Andy’s Frozen Custard shop and a theater where she launched her album.
Her mom Kara on Pink Pony Club: “I love singing it with her at her shows. Even when we’re grown up, we really care what our parents think about us. And I hope that’s something that she always knows: that we love her so much and we could never not be proud of her.”Her dad Dwight: “What she stands for us a lot of hope.” He cries while sharing that Chappell has taught him to respect and love all people.
Zane then meets Dua Lipa in Tokyo where she sings New Rules, Houdini, and some holiday songs.
Zane’s last stop is Los Angeles where he drives with Lady Gaga who sings Christmas Tree, Die with a Smile, and Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.
