Tyler Cameron gushed about living with his girlfriend, Tate Madden, after they moved in together during an exclusive interview with Life & Style.
“I think it’s fun. We’ve kind of figured out our routines,” Tyler, 31, told Life & Style about living with Tate while at the CELSIUS Padel Classic 2024 at Reserve Miami Seaplane in Miami, Florida, on December 6. “We get up and do coffee together. We work out, we walk the dogs, and it’s just nice to share the space with somebody.”
Tyler admitted that he’s “always been scared” to live with a partner and he’s “never done it before.”
“It’s a big step and now to be in this moment and just be very compatible in this space and be together all the time and not get sick of each other, I think it’s really good,” he added.
Tyler previously rose to fame while competing for Hannah Brown’s heart on season 15 of The Bachelorette. He quickly became a fan favorite on the franchise and continued living in the spotlight despite only appearing on one show within the Bachelor franchise.
While his love life has been documented in the public ever since his reality TV debut, Tyler told Life & Style how his relationship with Tate is different from his past romances.
“I think it’s because we kind of come from the same beginnings and backgrounds. She’s just incredible and we started off as really good friends and I haven’t had a relationship start like that,” he explained. “In many ways, it’s been a whole new world, and I just think she keeps me very grounded, and we believe in each other and we support each other and we hype each other up so I think it’s a very healthy relationship.”
The Florida native added that Tate is “a lot of fun” and “she’s just full go, always down for the cause and to have fun.”
“She’s just amazing. I wish I could bottle her energy and take it sometimes,” he continued. “She’s just got it.”
Tyler and Tate first met when a mutual friend invited her to go out on Tyler’s boat. They remained friends for years, and he confirmed their relationship during a September 2024 Amazon Live.
After he was asked by a fan to share details “about [his] girlfriend” during the video, Tyler asked Tate if she wanted to make an on-screen appearance. Tate declined the offer from behind the camera, and Tyler said, “She says she will not be joining me on this, but you will get to meet her soon.”
They have gone on to be more public with their romance, and Tyler shared a sweet video of the couple dancing via Instagram in October. “Found a cute girl to dance with …. and then she tried to knock me out ….” he captioned the clip.
Meanwhile, Tate shared a photo dump via Instagram that documented their trip to France in September. Shortly after she shared the post, several social media users gushed about how cute she and Tyler were in the comments section. “Beautiful couple,” one person commented. Another chimed in, “Tate + Ty forever! Y’all are perfect.”
