Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko still have a deep connection after competing together on Dancing With the Stars season 33. The swimsuit model exclusively tells Life & Style what she finds the most attractive about him, which isn’t his good looks.
“Gleb is amazing, and we have such a nice time together. His looks are like the least interesting thing about him,” Brooks, 27, gushed while attending the Celsius Padel Classic 2024 at Reserve Miami Seaplane in Miami, Florida on December 6.
“He’s such a deep person, and he cares a lot, and he’s so hard working. There’s so many admirable qualities that he has and so we’re just kind of going with the flow,” she continues about their romance status. “There’s nothing cuckoo. I mean, you could see it all on TikTok, I guess,” she adds about their flirty social media posts.
When asked about how fans are confused about whether or not Brooks and Gleb, 41, are a couple, she says she can relate, revealing, “I tell everybody this all the time. I’m also confused. I’m newly single and so I’m kind of navigating that.”
The Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native confirmed in May that she and her advertising executive husband Billy Haire were divorcing after four years of marriage.
Over the summer before being cast on DWTS, Brooks sparked dating rumors with a few different men, including Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece and NFL legend Tom Brady.
Brooks and Gleb’s chemistry showed in their DWTS ballroom routines, and their passion extended beyond the dance floor.
“They were kissing after practicing their dance backstage,” a source exclusively told Life & Style ahead of their performance on the September 24 episode. “Brooks also had her arm around Gleb. He looked very comfortable with her that way. They look like they are definitely a thing. It’s very clear something is going on with them.”
After their elimination on the October 15 episode, Gleb gushed over his partner, “I want to thank you for an amazing season, it was so unexpected. I had a blast working with you. You are super talented and I love you.”
However, the Moscow, Russia, native went on to break up with Brooks via a text following the competition.
Gleb shared his regrets in a November 12 interview with TooFab, revealing, “I really actually do miss her because she’s the vibe. She’s a really cool person. And I had the best time. When you asked me if I had the best time on the season, absolutely. This is one of my best seasons. Brooks is super talented, and we had a lot of fun. Life happens, and I do miss her a lot.”
The pair rekindled their romance after they were spotted packing on PDA backstage at the DWTS finale rehearsals on November 25.
As far as the text breakup goes, Brooks now says all is well, especially since she got something out of it.
“I forgave him with a Samsung commercial so that was my rebuttal. And he’s like, why don’t we do one together? I’m like ‘because you broke up over text!’” she explains with a laugh.
Brooks starred in an ad for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 where she received a text reading, “You’re dumped,” along with a dancing man and heartbreak emoji. She shrugged her shoulders after the initial shock, saying she was “moving on,” then hopped into an SUV, stating, “Your girl just got an upgrade.”
