The original cast of the Tony-winning play (with music) Stereophonic took to the Tiny Desk to play songs from the hit show. The music is performed by the original Broadway cast members Will Brill (who won a Tony for his performance), Juliana Canfield, Tom Pecinka, Sarah Pidgeon and Chris Stack, who are joined here by composer Butler and music director and orchestrator Justin Craig.

The play is still running on Broadway through January 12th, though the cast has changed since this Tiny Desk was recorded.

A remount of Glengarry Glen Ross is set to play at the Palace Theatre this spring, beginning previews on March 10th, opening March 31st, and running for 12 weeks only. The play will star Kieran Culkin, Bob Odenkirk, Bill Burr, Michael McKean, Donald Webber Jr., Howard W. Overshown and John Pirruccello.

The new musical Swept Away, which opened on November 19th, is set to close on December 15th, largely due to poor box office. The Michael Mayer-helmed musical used music from the Avett Brothers album Mignonette, and was based on the 1884 shipwreck of the British yacht of the same name, where its surviving crew — deprived of food and water — resorted to cannibalism.

The show, starring former Spring Awakening star John Gallagher, Jr., has announced a cast album, set to be released in February 2025.

A new musical about Bobby Darin opens on Broadway this spring at the Circle in the Square Theater, starring Tony winner Jonathan Groff. The production has already released some of the cast recordings, including “Beyond the Sea” and “Dreamlover”
