Flavor Flav is explaining why fans didn’t see him during the 2024 Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
During the live-broadcast that aired on Wednesday night (December 4) on NBC, the 65-year-old rapper took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to claim that he was kicked out of the event.
Keep reading to find out more…“I feel weird… I was invited to the Rockefeller Tree Lighting tonite and I was escorted to see my boys… THE BACKSTREET BOYS… and we were backstage in their dressing room… security came up to me and said: @nbc Does not want me in this area and I need to leave,” Flavor Flav wrote in a now-deleted tweet, according to TMZ.
“At the same time… their social media woman came up and asked to capture social content,” he continued. “What did I ever do to NBC or anyone?? all I ever do is try to spread joy and love… and I think I did that for NBC at the Olympics.”
The Public Enemy member ended his message by referring to his notable moments at the 2024 Paris Olympics, which also aired on NBC.
Flavor Flav then followed up with, “I deleted the tweet,,, but my spirit is broken.”
As of right now, NBC has not addressed Flavor Flav‘s claims.
