Kacey Musgraves let it rip when it came to how upset she was that a fan grabbed her mid-performance at a tour stop in Tampa, Florida.

Viral videos showed the “Rainbow” singer, 36, making her way from the stage through the audience on November 28, when a fan reached out and grabbed ahold of her wrist. Kacey was noticeably upset, turning and pulling her arm away and snapping at the audience member, “What the f–k?”

As she walked away, Kacey said “Jesus f–king Christ,” into her microphone before continuing on with her tune.

At her November 30 show in Hollywood, Florida, the seven-time Grammy winner mused about the incident.

“Last night, this Tampa bitch, y’all,” she recalled about the rowdy female fan as audience members booed about what had happened to Kacey.

“She kinda ruined it. She kinda ruined it for everybody. I thought I was gonna have to get real East Texas on her,” the Golden, Texas, native quipped, joking that she was going to have to “take off my earrings” to go at it physically. Kacey added, “Florida goes hard.”

“The Architect” singer is currently in the homestretch of her Deeper Well world tour, which kicked offon April 28 in Dublin, Ireland, and concludes in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 7.

The tour is in support of Kacey’s sixth studio album, which was released on March 15.

While Kacey was able to make it past her awkward fan encounter during her Tampa performance, other stars haven’t been so lucky, as they’ve had items thrown at them on stage.

Harry Styles has had everything from water bottles to chicken nuggets tossed at him during concerts. Bebe Rexha was hit in the eye with a phone and injured during a New York City show in June 2023.

The “I’m Good” singer suffered a split eyebrow— which required stitches — as well as a black eye, sharing the aftermath photos on Instagram.

Kelly Clarkson recalled how a fan once rushed the stage to grab her while she was singing with her eyes closed.

“This person on live TV on this show overseas rushed the stage and came up and hugged me and put their arms around me. But when your eyes are closed and you’re singing, you aren’t thinking anything,” she revealed during a June 2023 appearance on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show. “It was very scary just because you think at that moment, I realized how vulnerable I was and I’d never thought like that before.”

Most recently, country star Zach Bryan scolded the crowd at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington, after a fan threw something on stage during his The Quittin’ Time tour show on November 23.

“Who was it? Does anyone know?” Zach asked repeatedly, as seen in video footage shared by a fan. “Don’t throw s–t at concerts, huh?” The audience cheered as Zach added, “And if you guys do know who threw it, we can get them out of here, if you ever find out who did it.”
