Jenn Tran played coy and gave a cryptic response when asked if she is dating Dancing With the Stars partner Sasha Farber.
The former Bachelorette star, 26, was put in the hot seat when she asked what her future looks like with Sasha, 40, during her appearance on the Thursday, November 14, episode of “Sorry We’re Cyrus” podcast.
“What’s next for you guys? Are you just BFFs or is there, like, any dating potential there?” Brandi Cyrus asked. Jenn then gave a roundabout answer by simply responding, “BFFs for life.”
After Brandi, 37, pushed her for a more specific answer, Jenn laughed as she added, “I can’t predict the future.”
Brandi and her mom, Tish Cyrus, said that Jenn and Sasha have time to figure out a potential romantic relationship, and the Cyrus matriarch noted that it would be fun to go on the DWTS tour with her “boyfriend.”
“If you say boyfriend he’s going to freak out,” Jenn responded.
After Brandi said that they didn’t need to use the labels “boyfriend” and “girlfriend,” Jenn jokingly listed, “Partner, husband, baby daddy.”
While both Brandi and Tish, 57, finally seemed happy with Jenn’s response, the reality star said that “this is how rumors start.”
Jenn addressed the status of her and Sasha’s relationship after she hinted they were more than just friends in a TikTok video posted on October 31, which was shared following their elimination on DWTS.
“Private rehearsals starting ASAP,” Jenn wrote on the clip, which showed her knocking on the front door of Sasha’s home. The professional dancer then opened the door, and they hugged and started giggling.
“When one door closes another door opens,” she mouthed along to a viral sound, referencing their elimination from the show just days earlier. “We so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones that open for us.”
Shortly after the video was uploaded, several fans rushed to the comments section to wonder if they were confirming a potential romance. “BABE IS THIS A SOFT LAUNCH,” one social media user wrote.
The speculation continued when Jenn gushed about how important Sasha has been for her following her split from ex Devin Strader, whom she got engaged to during her time on The Bachelorette.
“He kept reminding me that it’s the stuff that’s not online that really matters, It’s your friends and family who know you the best that really matters,” Jenn told People about Sasha in a story published on November 10. “Right after the breakup, I was going through a lot of stuff being said online and stuff being spilled out, and I had to just turn my phone off.”
She continued, “Sasha really helped ground me and tell me that it’s my friends and family who really matter at the end of the day and everything’s going to blow over on social media and just keep doing me because at the end of the day, I only have myself, right?”
