Craig Melvin has been named as one of Hoda Kotb‘s replacements on the Today show!
If you don’t know, Hoda announced she was departing the NBC morning show in early 2025. Hoda currently co-hosts two separate timeslots on the Today show. She takes on an early morning slot alongside Savannah Guthrie, and she also co-hosts the 10 am hour with Jenna Bush Hager.

It was just announced that Hoda‘s replacement alongside Savannah will be fellow Today show co-hosts Craig Melvin! We still don’t know who will take over her spot alongside Jenna.
Craig joined Today back in 2018 and is currently the co-host of a different hour. He’ll now replace Hoda in the early morning slot as well.
There is a rumor about why Hoda is actually leaving the Today show, and it’s not what we originally thought.
