Halle Bailey is reflecting after she called out her ex-boyfriend DDG online.
On Wednesday night (November 6), the 24-year-old singer and actress took to social media to blast the 27-year-old rapper for featuring their son Halo on a livestream without her permission.
The following day, Halle issued a new statement. In it, she reflected on the situation and DDG‘s abilities as dad.

“Yesterday maybe i did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here,” Halle wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “i know that halo is always safe with his dad. i just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing.”
Halle and DDG dated for more than two years before splitting in October 2024. They welcomed baby Halo in secret at the start of the year.
The couple generated headlines multiple times over the course of their relationship. In July 2023, DDG sparked controversy online for the lyrics to his song “Famous,” which talked about being insecure about his girlfriend’s career and fame. He also addressed how they split their finances.
