Travis Kelce refused to miss one last chance at seeing girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Eras tour live. The pro athlete opened up about why he made the quick trip to Indiana to catch the show a final time amid his busy football schedule.

“I wanted to see Tay one more time before this thing got closed up,” Travis, 35, told brother Jason Kelce on the Wednesday, November 6, episode of their “New Heights” podcast. “And I’ll tell you what, man … the American crowds … they did not disappoint.”

After spending the rest of 2024 touring internationally, Taylor, 34, returned to the United States for shows in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis this fall. Travis was able to make the November 2 show in Indianapolis due to a day off from football (the Kansas City Chiefs played in the Monday Night Football game this week).

“I heard that it was a lot more rowdy this time around, knowing she was coming back to stop through America one last time before the tour was over with,” he added. “And, man, that thing was rocking.”

There are only two more stops on the Eras tour, with Taylor playing an upcoming six shows in Toronto before closing things out in Vancouver with three shows on December 6, 7, and 8. Meanwhile, after she wrapped up her three nights in Indianapolis, she jetted back to Kansas City to make Travis’ Monday, November 4, game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Chiefs kept up their undefeated season with an overtime win.

Travis wasn’t the only pro athlete in attendance at the November 2 concert. WNBA star Caitlin Clark also hit up the show and the two spent some time together in the VIP tent. “She was into the show, for sure,” Travis dished. “She’s a Swiftie through and through. I think she’s just having fun, going and taking her friends and family and getting everyone to experience Tay up there on stage, making the entire 70,000 people go f–king nuts for three and a half hours.”

He added, “[Caitlin’s] awesome. She loves being out there in Indianapolis. We’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart. You know, played high school ball, college ball, pro ball, all out here in the Midwest, so it was cool catching up with her.”

Travis has gotten to go to Eras tour concerts in South America, Australia, Asia, Europe and the United States. Jason, 37, has also seen the show amid his brother’s romance with the pop star. He and wife Kyle Kelce were at two of Taylor’s London concerts in June, then brought two of their young daughters to the October 18 show in Miami.

On an October episode of “New Heights,” Jason said the Eras tour in Miami was the “greatest show,” adding, “It was, like, on another level. I texted you halfway through it [being] like, ‘This rain – Tay is killing it.’” He also denied rumors that he fell asleep during the show after a photo went viral that appeared to show him nodding off. “You know I did not take a nap,” he told his brother. “I did not take a nap.”
