Whether it’s Frank Sinatra making “High Hopes” the anthem of John F. Kennedy’s 1960 campaign or Charli XCX declaring that “kamala IS brat” in a tweet heard round the world, the celebrity endorsement is as much a staple of modern political theater as the stump speech. Not every celeb loves to declare, however. Pharrell Williams, who has said he’d rather the famous keep quiet on politics, is not alone: The likes of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Patrick Mahomes are keeping their ballot choices close to the vest as well. But by and large, the 2024 election has been an endorsement bonanza.

Here, we’re keeping a running list of the celebrities who are letting the public know who gets their vote.

    VOTING FOR KAMALA HARRIS

    Fat Joe

Endorsed on November 4 during a Harris campaign rally in Pennsylvania

“[Trump] blocked the aid to Puerto Rico’s recovery. Kamala Harris went out there and helped the people, bringing over 5 million Latino jobs… So I’m asking you, if you’re undecided, to go out there tomorrow and vote for Kamala Harris because I believe in her and I know you can trust her”

    Christina Aguilera

“Tonight, I’m here in honor of the people who have fought to give us the privilege to be heard. Let’s raise our voices and vote for freedom.”

    Dick Van Dyke

Endorsed on November 4 via Youtube video

The actor and performer read an excerpt from a speech written by Rod Serling. He previously delivered the address at the 1964 Multi-Faith Civil Rights Rally alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., just months prior to the Civil Rights Act passing. “I got it out the other day, and I think it means as much today if not more,” Van Dyke said.

He continues to read: “Hatred is not the norm. Prejudice is not the norm. Suspicion, dislike, jealousy, scapegoating, none of those are the transcendent facet of the human personality. They are diseases. They are the cancers of the soul. They are the infectious and contagious viruses that have been breeding humanity for years.”

    Katy Perry

Endorsed on November 4 via Instagram video

Katy Perry captioned a video featuring Harris and tagging the candidate as “the KatyCat.”

“This is @kamalaharris. She’s gonna be… well… We’re the only ones who can finish this sentence 🗳️🇺🇸 VOTE!”

    Lady Gaga

Endorsed on November 3 via Instagram video

“It’s time to get ready to vote, I’ll see you guys in Pennsylvania,” Lady Gaga said in a video ahead of her appearance for a Pennsylvania Harris campaign rally on November 4.

    Harrison Ford

Endorsed on November 2 via X

“When dozens of former members of the Trump administration are sounding alarms saying ‘For God’s sake, don’t do this again,’ you have to pay attention,” Ford said in a video address posted by the Harris campaign. “They’re telling us something important. I’ve got one vote, same as anyone else, and I’m going to use it to move forward. I’m going to vote for Kamala Harris.”

    Cardi B

Endorsed on November 1 during a Harris campaign rally in Milwaukee

“I do not take lightly the call to show up, the call to speak up, the call to deliver a message that’s been on my heart a hot minute now. I wasn’t going to vote this year—I wasn’t. But Kamala Harris joining the race, she changed my mind completely.”

    LeBron James

Endorsed on October 31 via X

Sharing a video of Trump’s remarks over the years, James wrote: “What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!

    Jennifer Aniston

Endorsed on October 31 via Instagram

“Let’s please end this era of fear, chaos and the attacks on our democracy – and vote for someone who will unite us and not continue to threaten to divide us 🙏🏼 I very proudly voted for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.”

    Arnold Schwarzenegger

Endorsed on October 30 via X

“I don’t really do endorsements. I’m not shy about sharing my views, but I hate politics and don’t trust most politicians,” the former California governor wrote. “I want to tune out. But I can’t. Because rejecting the results of an election is as un-American as it gets.
