Director David F. Sandberg (Shazam 1 & 2, Annabelle: Creation) announced on his Instagram that filming for the Until Dawn movie finished on October 4th. The movie stars a whole new cast with Peter Stormare being the only actor to return from the original game.

With new post-credits scenes added in the remake, fans have begun speculating that a sequel is on the way.
XboxEra’s Nick Baker alleges that it’s currently being developed by Sony’s Firesprite studio, not Supermassive or remake studio Ballistic Moon. According to job postings and resumes, the studio has been working on a new horror game based on an established IP since 2022.
