Wait, is it the year of the cougar? Because Hollywood’s biggest female actors including Nicole Kidman and Anne Hathaway are some of the women who recently starred in films where they have a hot oncamera romance with younger partners.

You age gracefully when mind your business and drink your water – and these sexy celebrity women are proving the theory true.

Nicole Kidman: A Family Affair

Originally titled Motherf–ker, the Netflix movie stars the 57-year-old as a woman who falls for her daughter’s movie star boss, played by Zac Efron, 36. Ironically, the pair played love interests before in 2012’s erotic flick The Paperboy. Nicole was all in.

“We’ve had it from way back with older men and younger women, that’s just always been the norm — it’s OK, it’s completely acceptable,” she said. “The problem is we’ve not had the equivalent… with women telling the stories.”

The sex-positive thriller sees the actress’ high-powered CEO falling into a steamy affair with her much-younger intern (Iron Claw’s Harris Dickinson, 28). “This definitely leaves me exposed and vulnerable and frightened, and all of those things when it’s given to the world,” she said at the film’s Venice Film Festival premiere, calling the sexy film, “delicate and intimate and very, very deep.”

Laura Dern: Lonely Planet

Out in October, Netflix’s age-gap romance features the 57-year-old as a newly single novelist who goes on a retreat to Morocco and crosses paths with a younger guy — Aussie beefcake Liam Hemsworth, 34. The two, naturally, embark on a life-altering love affair.

“The dynamic between the younger man and the older, established writer intrigued me because it’s not just about romance,” Laura said. “It’s about finding someone who truly sees and understands you, which is something deeply human and relatable.” And hot!

Olivia Wilde: I Want Your Sex

Described as a descent into a world of “sex, obsession, power, betrayal and murder,” the upcoming flick stars the 40-year-old as an artist who taps the much younger Elliot (Cooper Hoffman, 21) as her sexual muse. Olivia has some experience with that. After all, she dated the 10-year-younger Harry Styles!

Anne Hathaway: The Idea of You

A 40-year-old new divorcée meets cute with a Harry Styles–ish rocker in the Prime Video charmer. “This is a movie about a woman healing her heart after a massive trust trauma,” the 41-year-old explained. “And it says that a bloom can happen in a person’s life at any stage.”
