The Bear explores complicated family dynamics — but which of the characters are actually related to each other and how?
The hit FX series, which releases new episodes on Hulu, introduced viewers to The Beef restaurant, which was run by the Berzatto family. Mikey (Jon Bernthal) was originally in charge of the sandwich shop before his death, at which point his younger brother Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) took over with their sister Natalie’s (Abby Elliott) help.
Most of the first season focused on the relationships between employees at The Beef before Carmy turned it into a Chicago hot spot called The Bear. Season 2 offered viewers more of a glimpse at the strong — and oftentimes chaotic — familial bonds on the show. The famous “Fishes” episode specifically captured one Christmas in the Berzatto family, which was jam-packed with memorable cameos.
