Despite many customers being fed up with the Hermès game of investing money on other items of Hermès before you’re even offered a chance to buy the bag, the Wall Street journal reports how many women are now sweetening up their sales associates at the French maison, in order to boost their chances to be offered a chance at the coveted Birkin bag.
Apparently the treats range from home made cookies to Beyoncé concert tickets. Despite all this, there’s a chance you may not be offered your preferred size or color, but to many people this is still worth it since it is encouraged to keep a good relationship with your sales associate and because the bag is actively considered as an investment as you can always get a profit off of it if you decide to sell it.
