Although not yet officially greenlit, sources say that Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan are in negotiations to star in the second season of A24 and Netflix’s Emmy-winning anthology series Beef.
Isaac and Mulligan would be playing roles originally rumored to be for Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway, but ultimately that did not come to fruition. Insiders say the second season will revolve around two feuding couples; allegedly, Charles Melton and Cailee Spainey have already been cast as one of the couples.
