Sir Ian McKellen has been taken to hospital after he fell off stage in a theatre in London.

During a performance of Player Kings in London, 85-year-old actor Sir Ian McKellen slipped and fell off the stage during a fight scene.
The audience was immediately evacuated and the evening performance was cancelled once it was realized that the actor had fallen off stage for real.
No updates on what injuries the actor sustained though witnesses report that he was still conscious and calling for help.
UPDATE: A theater spokesperson reported that he is in “good spirits” and expected to “make a speedy and full recovery”.
