· Fashion designer Michaela Stark took to Instagram to condemn the return of Alexander Wang following his comeback show in New York City last week
· Alexander Wang’s career came to a halt in 2020, when model Owen Mooney detailed an incident in which he was groped by Wang. After Mooney’s story made the rounds on fashion gossip sites, more people (10+ but I’m unsure of the exact number) came forward with stories of being groped or drugged by the designer. Wang initially denied the allegations but later agreed to meet with the people who came forward, after which he posted what was described in the media as an apology (not really)
· Wang has slowly been making his public return with the support of Anna Wintour (allegedly?). Walking the runway were Aoki Lee Simmons, Paris Jackson, Gabbriette, and Dennis Rodman, who spent much of the late 1990s thru late aughts settling sexual assault cases out of court or getting arrested for domestic violence and misdemeanor battery. Kim Cattrall and Ice Spice were also in attendance. Comments on Vogue’s Instagram post celebrating his return are almost exclusively negative

nobody’s perfect but you would think working with a serial predator is an easy no? none of the people I listed are hurting for money and the clout cannot be worth it.
