Brandon Boyd says he decided to see what the comments online had to say about the re-release of Morning View XXIII, and they were tearing it apart.
He’s fine with it and says his voice has changed. He can’t do what he did at 25, now that he’s 48. The band had fun with it and the album has a new vibe.
He had broken his nose twice in his life and had a deviated septum. He finally had it repaired in 2019, and it changed his singing abilities because suddenly he was using two nostrils.
They have a new bassist named Nicole Row and are going on tour this summer to perform the Morning View album in its entirety.
As for new music? The band has 6 songs completed so far.
