Representatives at Ryu Jun-Yeol and Han So-Hee’s individual agencies have confirmed a break-up after a ridiculous two weeks.
To understand this ordeal, i’ll give you a short run down of what’s gone on so far. God help me.

2. 15/03/24 – RJY’s ex of 7+ years Girl’s Day member and actress Hyeri responds to the rumours with an instagram post of a photo of palm trees and a text “this is funny”. She also unfollows her ex.
3. 15/03/24 – Rumours of “transit love” and RJY playing Hyeri emerge. Han So-hee responds.
4. 15 0r 16/03/24 – Agencies confirm the two are dating.
5. 18/03/24 – Dispatch releases pap photos of their date in Hawaii practically confirming point 1.
6. Han So-hee goes off not once (above), not twice, not thrice but… boy, I don’t want to keep count.
7. 18/03/24 – Hyeri apologises and has maintained her silence since.

2. The Unfortunate “Don’t Date Ugly Men” Saga OP NOTE: He’s adorable to me š and not ugly at all.
After five weeks of their relationship being made public, aespa’s Karina and actor Lee Jae-Wook have broken up citing “emotional toll inflicted by malicious comments and a sense of remorse towards their fans.”
In those five weeks, idols such as G-idle’s Miyeon and Karina’s fellow member Giselle have been asked by “fans” not to date ugly men…

3. The “I married an ugly man” saga.
Hwang Jung-Eum, of Secret Love and Kill Me Heal Me fame announced her divorce from her husband in February after posting sarcastic and cryptic posts earlier in the year. This will be their second attempt at divorce and seems final this time.
Recently, perhaps as promo for the second season of the drama The Escape of the Seven subtitled “Resurrection” HJE spoke about her divorce on variety personality Shin Dong-Yup’s youtube talk show (wow everyone seems to have one now…). Quoting AKP here but some interesting bits:
- Hwang Jung Eum shared, “My children are so beautiful. The second child is two years old, and the first has just started elementary shool. They’re so lovely.”
Hwang Jung Eum shared, “I tried to get a divorce before. Every time we fought, my husband would say, ‘You leave, this is my house,’ so I took out a loan and bought a house in Itaewon. My husband doesn’t know about the house in Itaewon. We reconciled because of the kids. It was a waste of time, so we just lived, but this time it ended up this way.”
Seems a bit risky to admit imo. I have no idea about division of property laws in SK so hopefully she’s safe?
