RuPaul’s Drag Race season 12 alums Crystal Methyd and (Miss Congeniality) Heidi N Closet are two of the four fierce queens fighting vicious vampires in the new film Slay (watch the trailer below), now available to stream on Tubi. Trinity the Tuck and Drag Race UK’s Cara Melle join the pair to vanquish evil while looking fabulous doing it.

In Slay, after a booking mistake, four drag queens, Mama Sue Flay (Trinity), Olive Wood (Cara), Robin Banks (Heidi) and Bella Da Boys (Crystal), find themselves performing for a mostly unwelcoming crowd, but when vampires attack, the crowd looks to the queens to save the day.

The film, directed and written by Jem Garrard, is a fun horror comedy providing the perfect mix of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and From Dusk Till Dawn.

Heidi and Crystal chatted with us about the new film, the horror movies that they love, their future projects, and much more in our exclusive interview.
