-Ken Leung who stars in ATLA live action series as Commander Zhao thought he was auditioning for James Camerons ‘Avatar’ series.
-Stating “You couldn’t tell it was for Avatar, it was kind of disguised as a different project”
-He wasnt even aware of what ATLA was before joining the series and is happy that he came in not knowing anything about his animated counterpart.
-ATLA live action series debuted this past Thursday and has been dominating Netflix as their #1 series since then despite amount of hate it has generated online.
