Pierce Brosnan has entered a plea of not guilty to charges of entering restricted areas of Yellowstone National Park. Wyoming authorities accuse him of accessing the thermal area, where hot springs can reach boiling temperatures, and Mammoth Terraces, another area of the park with several hot springs. The areas have designated walkways for tourists, as venturing into the landscape can cause permanent damage to the pristine nature.
Brosnan allegedly left the walkway and posted a picture of himself in the restricted area to Instagram. For each violation, he could face up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $5,000.
