The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ newest housewife – Annemarie Wiley – slammed the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) over their “defamation campaign” against her.
She took to her Instagram Stories over the weekend to write a lengthy message after the medical association called her out for seemingly misrepresenting her medical qualifications.
“I do not condone the ASA’s defamation campaign. I am a CRNA, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist,” she wrote. “I am extremely proud of my profession. I will not be accused of title misappropriation because a cast mate needed a storyline on a reality tv show. This is my real life and my career.”
Wiley’s comments come after the ASA shared a statement on Instagram Thursday with a graphic differentiating between anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists.
