In an interview with Dazed magazine, the director revealed he’s working on it alongside the author of the book, Ottessa Moshfegh. The novel, which is set in New York city in 2000 and 2001, is about a 24-year-old woman who attempts to sleep through an entire year with the aid of drugs prescribed by a negligent psychiatrist.
Emma Stone, who was also part of the interview, declined to answer if she’ll star in it.
