The series based on DC characters follows teenagers (?) Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri) and Edwin Paine (George Rexstrew) , who decided not to enter the afterlife and stay on Earth and investigate crimes that involve supernatural stuff.
Funnily enough, the characters previously had already appeared on Doom Patrol played by different actors (Ty Tennant and Sebastian Croft). Updated: it was supposed to be a Doom Patrol spin-off, the pilot was made and the series was picked up by HBO Max for an eight-episode first season in April 2022. By February 2023, the series was moved from HBO Max to Netflix.
