Five Nights at Freddy’s stayed on top at the box office this weekend with $19.4 million. That said, the film fell a massive 76% from its debut last weekend. LOL.
Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour ($13.5 million) and Killers of the Flower Moon ($7 million) followed in 2nd and 3rd. Unlike Freddy, both had very small drops from the prior week at -13% and -25% respectively. Flower Moon passed the $100 million mark worldwide, with Era’s passing $200 million.
Priscilla expanded to 1359 theaters and grossed a 4th place $5.08 million. Mexican film Radical debuted in 5th with $2.73 million from 419 theaters. Meg Ryan’s What Happens Later debuted in 9th place with $1.56 million from 1492 theaters.
On the indie side, Anatomy of a Fall expanded to 440 theaters and took in $600k. Its domestic total after 4 weeks stands at $1.97 million. The Holdovers expanded to 64 theaters and also took in $600k.
