    Zayn Malik is branching out.

The singer-songwriter was recently named the Chief Creative Officer of Mixoloshe, a mocktail brand “dedicated to mimicking adult drinks minus the hangover.” Malik’s first original flavor for the brand, Lychee Martini, was first teased as an Easter egg in the music video for his July single “Love Like This.”

“I’d been interested in [the non-alcoholic beverage] industry for years,” Malik told Billboard. “Mixoloshe, its goals, its products, its positioning in the marketplace, all of it was aligned with what I wanted to jump into.”

When asked why non-alcoholic beverages, Malik elaborated:

“Non-alcoholic options should not be reserved solely for those who don’t drink, and the idea that non-alcoholic beverages are exclusively for ‘sober’ individuals is a stereotype that I’m determined to challenge. My commitment lies in both innovation and social change, creating an environment where enjoying a non-alcoholic beverage is a choice, not a label, and where these drinks become a vibrant and celebrated part of the beverage landscape.”

Each can of the Lychee Martini is 45 calories, gluten-free and made with clean ingredients, with “less carbs than non-alcoholic beer” and only nine grams of cane sugar.
